RADARSEE – Data Management Platform is based on Wi-Fi analytics.

We collect and use anonymized data (MAC addresses) from smartphones to measure traffic and verify the number of audience contacts with Out-of-Home advertising.

How it works?

Sensor RADAR

1. A directional RADAR Wi-Fi sensor is installed on the advertising structure. During installation, the sensor is calibrated to collect data from smartphones with Wi-Fi enabled. Smartphones are detected from a specific distance in a specified direction.

2. Smartphones within the sensor’s range passively transmit their MAC addresses (network module identifiers) to our database. The sensor collects this data without requiring smartphones to connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Analitycs

3. The data collected by the sensor is algorithmically processed and linked to each individual advertising structure and campaign. Automated data processing enables real-time tracking of advertising message contacts (OTS).

Cloud storage

4. MAC addresses are uploaded and stored on a cloud server. Automatically or at the request of customers, the collected and analyzed data is downloaded from the cloud to create analytical reports in the form of xls, graphs, and charts

Who needs it?

Audience contact metrics with advertising are necessary for advertising operators, media, and digital agencies. The obtained data allows determining the number of views of a specific advertisement during or after the completion of an advertising campaign to analyze its effectiveness.

FAQ

The project uses network equipment from leading global companies such as Cisco and MikroTik. The equipment is certified and meets all quality and safety standards.

For data collection and processing, we use our proprietary software solutions and algorithms, which have been tested on indoor and outdoor advertising structures. The obtained data was compared with data from a monitoring company and data from mobile operators. Additionally, to compare results, Computer Vision was used with webcams located on advertising inventory. These studies allowed us to determine a coefficient that is applied to align metrics with other independent sources.
